About The Event
Reclaiming Cocoa is a powerful documentary by Swiss investigative journalist Philippe Stalder, following cocoa from Ghana’s farms to Switzerland’s shelves. Centring cocoa farmers’ voices, it looks beyond branding and “sustainability” soundbites to show how power and value really flow through the supply chain — and what it takes to retain value at origin. After the screening, Philippe will be joined for a live Q&A by Ghanaian community advocate Bright Debrah Adjei (Executive Director, Imperial Child Rights and Women Empowerment – ICRaWE) and David Briceño(Colombia), inviting audiences to hear the realities first-hand and explore what a genuinely Responsible future for chocolate could look like.
Content note: references to child labour, trafficking and exploitation.
