Aligned Organisations: Collaborate with Join the Chocolution
Who We Want to Work With
We are looking to collaborate with organisations working for justice, dignity, and systemic change. This includes those focused on:
-
Poverty and social justice – tackling inequality, economic injustice, and the root causes of exploitation
-
Food sovereignty and sustainability – advocating for responsible food systems and community-led solutions
-
Anti-slavery and labour rights – addressing forced labour, worker rights, and industry accountability
-
Decolonisation and racial justice – challenging colonial legacies and shifting power back to producers
-
Environmental justice – ensuring that people and planet are prioritised over profit
Organisations don’t need to be actively involved in cocoa or chocolate to stand with us. Some may want to collaborate on specific actions, while others may choose to add their support to our shared endeavour—lending their name, voice, and solidarity to the movement.
Why Get Involved?
The chocolate industry’s deep inequalities are part of wider global injustices. Forced labour, land exploitation, and corporate power imbalances won’t change without collective action. By joining forces, we can:
✅ Challenge industry whitewashing and demand real accountability
✅ Strengthen responsible trade and food justice networks
✅ Support producers and communities creating alternative models
✅ Raise awareness and shift consumer understanding
Ways to Collaborate
Partnerships can take many forms, including:
-
Education & Awareness – Talks, workshops, and campaigns
-
Advocacy & Policy Change – Joint actions, petitions, and lobbying
-
Supporting Transparent Trade – Connecting businesses with responsible sourcing options
-
Events & Engagement – Festivals, panels, and public discussions
-
Solidarity & Visibility – Standing with us in calling for change
